Umar Daud, MD

Dr. Umar Daud is a board-certified rheumatologist at Pike County Memorial Hospital, bringing over 20 years of clinical experience to patients throughout Pike County, Missouri. He sees patients 18 and older and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Dr. Daud completed both his internal medicine residency and his rheumatology fellowship at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. There, he gained extensive experience caring for patients with complex rheumatologic conditions. As a result of that training, he developed a deep foundation in managing diseases that are often difficult to diagnose and require careful, long-term oversight. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology.

In his practice, Dr. Daud takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to care. Specifically, he focuses on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and long-term disease management. Because rheumatic conditions are often chronic, he works closely with each patient to build a treatment plan that fits their individual needs and goals. Furthermore, he coordinates with PCMH’s primary care team to make sure patients receive connected, consistent care across every part of their health.
