Bio:
Dr. Colbert is board certified in pulmonary medicine and internal medicine, and fellowship trained in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine.
Dr. Colbert sees patients ages 18 years and older, and treats a wide range of pulmonary diseases including: asthma, bronchitis, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), emphysema, pleural diseases, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease and lung cancer. She is trained to perform endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), a bronchoscopic procedure used to provide further image information for diagnosing the stage of lung cancer. Dr. Colbert graduated cum laude with her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she also completed her internal medicine and pediatric residency. In 2014, she completed her fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Missouri – Columbia.
