Dr. Holcomb Image

Dr. Amanda Holcomb is a board-certified podiatrist at Pike County Memorial Hospital serving Pike County, Missouri. Dr. Holcomb diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the feet and ankles. She provides both medical and surgical care for patients of all ages, including treatment for diabetic foot problems, bunions, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, and other foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Holcomb earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. She completed her residency at University Health Lakewood Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, where she received advanced training in foot and ankle surgery. In addition, she is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She also holds the Associate designation from the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (AACFAS).

Preventing and treating diabetic foot problems is an important part of Dr. Holcomb’s practice. People living with diabetes have a higher risk of foot ulcers, infections, and other complications. Because of this, regular foot exams and early treatment can help prevent serious problems and lower the risk of amputation. Dr. Holcomb works closely with the primary care providers and wound care team at Pike County Memorial Hospital to provide coordinated care.

In addition to diabetic foot care, Dr. Holcomb treats many common foot and ankle conditions. Patients see her for ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, bunions, hammertoes, and other painful foot problems. When surgery is the best option, she offers advanced surgical care to help relieve pain and restore mobility.

Having a podiatrist close to home makes it easier for patients to receive the care they need. Instead of traveling to a larger city, people throughout Pike County can receive expert foot and ankle care at Pike County Memorial Hospital.
