Vivek Manchanda, MD

Dr. Vivek Manchanda is a board-certified pain management physician at Pike County Memorial Hospital. He sees patients on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the PCMH Louisiana Medical Clinic.  As a pain management specialist serving Pike County, Missouri, Dr. Manchanda evaluates and treats many types of chronic pain. His goal is to reduce pain, improve movement, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Manchanda earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in India. He completed his internship at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and his residency at the University of Missouri. In addition, he is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Pain Medicine.  His training allows him to diagnose the cause of chronic pain and recommend treatment options that fit each patient’s needs. These may include medication, minimally invasive procedures, or other therapies designed to improve comfort and function.

Many patients come to Dr. Manchanda for back pain, neck pain, joint pain, nerve pain, and other long-term pain conditions. He also performs epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, trigger point injections, radiofrequency ablation, and other interventional pain management procedures.  For many people, traveling long distances for pain management can be difficult.
