Dr. Robert W. Jackson is a board-certified rheumatologist at Pike County Memorial Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI). Dr. Jackson sees patients on the third Friday of each month at the PCMH Bowling Green Medical Clinic. As a rheumatologist in Bowling Green, Missouri, Dr. Jackson has more than 20 years of experience caring for patients with arthritis and autoimmune diseases. He diagnoses and treats arthritis, lupus, gout, fibromyalgia, and many other inflammatory and musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Jackson earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout his career, he has cared for patients while also serving in academic leadership roles. For example, he served as Associate Dean of Campus Academic Affairs and as Chairman and Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and the years of clinical practice and medical education help him provide thoughtful, up-to-date care for every patient.
Many autoimmune diseases can be difficult to diagnose and often require ongoing treatment. Because of his experience, Dr. Jackson cares for patients with both common and complex rheumatic conditions. He works with each patient to develop a treatment plan that fits their needs and goals. Receiving rheumatology care close to home makes ongoing treatment more convenient.
