Our licensed and certified physical therapists at PCMH provide the full continuum of services: prevention, diagnosis, consultation, and treatment. At every stage of the process, our goal is to improve mobility, relieve pain, and limit or eliminate the debilitating effects of your injury or disease.

Restoring & Optimizing Your Body

Working with individuals, groups, and families, our healthcare professionals evaluate your medical history and perform a complete physical assessment to determine your limitation in range of motion, strength, coordination, balance, pain and functional ability. With this information, together we create goals and established your personalized treatment plan

Our physical therapy department offers comprehensive, customized inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services, provided by licensed physical therapists.

Our inpatient services include acute care and sub-acute rehabilitation provided to hospitalized patients in our medical and surgical units.

Outpatient services include general orthopedic therapy, sports therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation.

• General Orthopedic Therapy

  Comprehensive treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and other methods. Conditions may include those resulting from motor vehicle accidents, work-related or repetitive use injuries, or general weakness and chronic pain.

• Sports Therapy

  Geared toward activity-specific rehabilitation for recreational or competitive athletes.

• Aquatic Therapy

  Enables patients to benefit from physical therapy treatment in a warm-water pool. Using the buoyancy and resistive properties of water, aquatic therapy can help improve strength, movement and flexibility, while decreasing pain and stress on joints.

• Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

  For patients recovering from a variety of surgeries, including those of the extremities or spine, arthroscopy, total joint replacement, ACL reconstruction or rotator cuff
